Have gone 50% of the way through the Oxford notes and find them pretty clear however I am struggling with thermal winds (no puns please !). I am hitting a brick wall
with the understanding and would appreciate some clarity on this question...
In the north'n hemispere the wind at 2000 ft is 210/60. the thermal wind is 20 kts with the lowest mean temp in the northwest
the upper wind is ;
a) 210/40
b) 210/80
c) 300/40
d) 030/80
Has someone found a set of notes that explains thermal winds more clearly?
