'Slightly ropey' must equal 'Maybe the power settings weren’t symmetrical' or slightly ropey = crackling sounds noticeable above normal olympus sound, in my less than stella engine noise spotter capacity I would liken it to a car engine running rough (but in Jet terms). Erm, I'll stop now then...
