Not really sure why anyone would expect there to be much happening. Nationally, it's evident that few airlines have the appetite for expansion at the moment and while some of the other airport specific threads on here have plenty of traffic going through them, the content is telling. Small regional airports being sold or put up for sale & routes being cut across the board is my take on it at the moment. At LBA specifically, new heads of Marketing / Commercial Development and Finance have only just started work and while that will probably bode well for the future, it's a tough ask to expect them to have pulled rabbits out the hat so soon in an environment when the airlines are simply not expanding. I suspect that if the airport can hang on what it has than the summer should produce moderate growth. If behind the scenes the new team can begin to get the message out to the indusrty that the airport is much more commercially focussed and is making progress with the necessary infrastructure improvements then it will be hopefully well placed as and when confidence begins to return
