The Cub is based at Rush Green (tiny-549m x 8m, invisible grass strip next to a car scrapyard 5 miles West of Luton) so it's enroute for Newbloke but I can also tie in with Cahliban cos it's close to Stevenage.
How about following Beagler's idea and having a gathering of Pprunes (a vine? a can? a bowl?) at a suitable hostelry on the Friday pm?
