Cool Soloy SD1/SD2

The Soloy AS350 modifications to LTS101 series engines are for the AS350BA and B2. Although earlier D and B models can be upgraded the paperwork trail is not as strong as traditional Soloy products, these certifications were purchased by Soloy from a third party. Soloy originally certified the AS350B2 with the LTS101-700D-2 then applied the same kit into the AS350BA using the LTS101-600A-3A. These two kits are commonly referred to as the AS350SD1 and SD2.

The SD1 and SD2 are FAA approved and the SD2 is EASA approved. The SD1 is currently being evaluated for EASA approval.

Soloy has delivered over 80 SD1 and SD2 conversions and the first SD2 in Europe is currently operating in Austria. The second kit has been delivered to France and is scheduled to fly next month.

Reports of fuel savings are from 3 to 8 gph and the B2 performance charts can be achieved with plenty of T4 and Ng margin, even hot and high.

Contact Soloy Aviation Solutions to relieve the pain at the pump and keep your aircraft where it belongs.......in the air. Hows that for a pitch?
