The green grass and freedom we have in OZ for us and our respective families has to be worth more than its weight in gold !
APEC summit sums up the amount of freedom we have in Oz. I don't think you have a great deal more freedom than you do in the UAE..
The more you compare jobs, pay, cities etc the less likely you are to be happy. Try and make the most of where ever you are and I guarantee you'll have better job satisfaction. The sky jockies in 3rd world Africa are making the most of their limited lifestyle and are having a ball.
