Yeh looking at all the movements today it looks like we are really on the up...cant imagine even Newcastle has been as busy today.
I presume your comment was 'tongue in cheek' as I otherwise I can't imagine anyone so stupid ! As it happens NCL yesterday exceeded DTV on commercial movements by a factor somewhere between 3 & 4 irrespective of the average size of aircraft also being larger.
The point I would like to make is that the comment you made is unfortunately typical of the rhetoric that emanates from the DTV
PR machine, in having very little positive to promote, then items are at times taken way out of context to provide a totally inaccurate picture. Just as accurate a comment to make would be that movements at DTV returned the next day to a more realistic level of c.50% of that quoted.
