I seem to recall from my days in HM Flying Club THAT there is a contact point somewhere in Strike HQ that I can ring, give details of my strip. As it is unlicensed has no ATZ, it will not stop them blundering over but will alert the FJ guys that there is a higher possibility of seeing a/c landing and taking off. I fly a high performance aerobatic taildragger, on climb out I can't effectively see very much in front (and it's in my interest during the week to get off and through 1000' pdq).
On landing - I come straight in at 90-100 mph with side-slip so half the world is lost again.
I left The RAF so long ago that I don't have any friends who could help. All I want is the tel no. It may prove futile but at least I will have tried.
Anyway - another fine day off to perfect those flick rolls!
