Sticknruda - I've just been reading your contribution to C152/Tornado mid-air in the Military Pilot's forum. I too fly out of a farm strip and mine is right on top of a VOR. Tornados & Jaguars regularly hammer over the top of us, perhaps using the VOR as a turning point? Surely at the speed they're travelling at, it can't be up to us to react? By the time you've seen one at 2 miles and figured out that he's heading towards you, which way do you turn?????
