Obviously dependent on winds/load etc in the original 332L we could flog from Aberdeen to the Thistle with a diversion to Bergen or Floro. That's 274nm there, and then 125 or 95 for the diversion. Straight to Thistle with an offshore diversion was common. Altitude made a large difference to range. At FL90 the fuel consumption could drop from 1050/1100 Lbs per hour to 900/950 or less; ally that to a favourable Southerly and you could be there quite quickly. .
