i've been looking at other jobs and in actual fact i know we winge about money but last year my p60 said i'd earnt 19k, add to that we pay less tax so in reality it's the equivalent of earning about 22k on the ground.

you won't be spending a fortune on holidays anymore, even if you just use a company like touchdown you'll save staff travel can work out v cheap.

in my last company i actually know that there was a huge influx of applications and of those that had done the crew course, not one of them got the job.

you will be abused by pax, you will work long hours, you will cross time zones and the majority of the time you will feel rubbish and you will drink more than you thought you could without your liver failing but you will work in some amazing places accross the world, you will work with a fantastically diverse team and do things in a weekend that when you look back are quiet surreal.

flying is a drug and once you've had it you never forget how good it felt that first time and many if not most can never step away and never look back.

do it, you don't wanna be on your death bed and think, what if.........
