XH767
I remember 767 at 187 City of Worcester Squadron ATC arrived there in 1967 to replace the Spitfire taken off us for the Battle of Britain Film, used in ground scenes all the hydraulics were rotten so the gear was locked down and they got it running for ground shots. It ended up at RAF Locking then donated to Glasgow Museum a fitting home as the City had raised the cash to build it during the tail end of the war.
767 at Worcester was void of engines and light of a few instruments in the cockpit the rear seat was almost empty of gear. RAF Hartlebury also had a Javelin as gate Guard, the Staish there allowed us to rob bits off it to put in ours.
767 left Worcester and spent time at the Avon Aviation Museum she ended up at the Yorkshire Museum last I heard, didnt know she had been at Leeming.
Thunder & Lightening site has details on all the suvivors
