Rumour doing the rounds that a QF B767 captain who had applied for a DEC position with V Oz politely withdrew his application when they advised the salary/conditions.
They also asked him during round 1 if he was prepared to pay for his endo. He declined and was called back a few weeks later
Word was they needed experienced operators with ETOPS exposure
