I hope BA pilots do go on strike.
I've been out of work twice due to BA take overs; Dan Air and BRAL/BACX. I'm type rated on three of their mainline types and on the BAe146/RJ (Cityflyer). Two of those ratings are current (mainline types), so I would have thought that when the brothers unite and go on strike, I stand a fair chance at a job in mainline, assuming Willie is strong enough to tough it out. Willie will have to tough it out eventually, otherwise there wont be a BA.
On the subject of 411A. I used to think this bloke was some right wing nutter, perhaps a Ryanair Manager type. (without being unfair to RYR managers, they must know what they are doing - judge them by their results - but the industry perception is not good). Perhaps 411A has seen it all before and bases his opinions and forecasts on his experience and observations.
Anyway, go on strike BA pilots; the rest of the downtrodden independant sector pilots are lining up to take YOUR jobs.
