my ignorance but always wonder what close (d?) right stop is?? Is he indicating to tower that he is going to do a tight right circuit to a full stop landing?
A Closed is the R/T for a Closed Pattern. (Climbing 180 degree turn to traffic pattern altitude which intercepts the overhead break pattern) Right is the direction and Stop is his intentions. (Only given for a Fullstop landing so that ATC can co-ordinate with other aircraft as the runway is occupied for a longer length of time)
