Pilcher has a good point - at night I'd go for a big road and land in the direction of the traffic. . .. .During the daytime, a field is the best bet (unless there are disused RAF fields nearby - in some parts of the country you are virtually always within gliding range of one!. .. .cheers!. .foggy.
