Having waited most of last Monday for the cloud base to lift to 1500', forecast by 1100 in a sequence of TAF's, I'm not sure that there is such a thing as a decent forecast. It never went above 700' all day on my bit of the South Coast. Still watching the IFR traffic coming and going is better than gardening I suppose.
