Just before Christmas, my wife was driving home and she saw an AIA DC-8 arriving at Lasham! She described it as a "Smoking 4 engined holiday jet"!, it was ZS-OSI, which was there again earlier this month.
Marvellous aeroplane, long may she continue to fly!
Back in 1981, Redcoat interviewed me for an Ops job, so did Air Continental. I was turned down for both jobs, but enjoyed my interview on the flight deck of a CL-44 and PA-31!
