Was pointing out that if it ever happened to me, i'd have the comfort of knowing that the appropriate people would be to the rescue!
I think the points being made are that if you can land the aircraft, taxiing off the runway (IF suitable to do so) to make things a bit easier for the airport authorities, could help everything go alot smoother
