If you have some red squidgy bits hanging off your a/c, may I suggest not touching them without gloves on.
Apart from bird flu there are plent of other communicable deseases a bird carcass can carry; Newcastle Desease is one I know of.
Also, as the CAA has just changed over to online reporting it will be a bit difficult sending the parts down the internet
Maybe a digital photo might be the answer.
Do you put your landing & taxi lights on? Did hear once it can reduce unwated attention from birds.
