I'm just back from Orlando, where I got to fly an R44 for the first time - along the beach at 300 ft, but that's irrelevant to this anyway. Well, they told me it was just like a big R22, and it is. So I'm doing some hour building in LA in April, and hoping to do the R44 conversion. If I do, and manage to get it on my UK licence by June (every type needs a conversion for helis in the UK, not in US <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> ), then I'll possibly have THREE seats available from Wolverhampton (Halfpenny Green) for the Fly-in; not sure of cost but should be around £70-80/hour per person. It's by no means definite, but if you might be interested then e-mail me, and tell me how much you weigh as I think there can easily be weight problems 4-up in an R44.

I really fancy landing at Popham in a big heli with three passengers.
