First of all, thanks guys for keeping this thread going while I've been too busy to do it myself.
Next, FNG, you're right - Genghis does seem to have missed me off! I'll definitely be going, probably in the Super Cub (unless I find a well-payed job before then which enables me to buy a share in my own aircraft!)
Now, as for the organising. I said I'm quite happy to organise this, but it seems to have been doing a good job of organising itself over the last few weeks, with some help from Genghis. I notice that Irv has also been doing a bit of organising in trying to enable students to fly in - an excellent idea, Irv, if it works. I'm more than happy to have any help I can get with the organisation, but this event looks like it's going to be very popular, and I'm a little worried about having too many chiefs and not enough indians. So, Genghis and Irv, can you both please e-mail me at
[email protected] and we can swap phone numbers. The same goes for anyone else who wants to help out with the organisation. There's not that much organising to do - the list of people and aircraft going needs maintaining, and someone should let the guys at Popham know that we're coming - but at least if you guys who want to get involved make sure you're talking to me, I can make sure everything gets done, and nothing gets done twice. (I nearly always check my e-mail every day, even if I don't have time to read PPRuNe forums, so this should be effective!)
