As far as I am aware, this woman is actually post op, so is legally a female, and therefore no passport issues.

The UK would definately be a great place to start, and the laws are completely 100% on your side. You could always get some experience here, giving yourself an advantage when you go back to oz.

I fly for a long haul airline in the UK, and I recently flew with one of our recruiters, and she said that the anti-discrimination laws are so strict, that as long as long as you tick the right boxes when it comes to the cabin crew behaviours ( team work, customer service etc), you're in. Race, wieght, age and gender are not and cannot considered at all unless it poses a safety issue.

Follow your dreams, diversity should be embraced!
