1. At least you have had a pay rise - none here for 18 months.

It is high time that ALL airlines, instead of fighting the inexorable rise in fiuel prices and trying to absorb them by hitting the soft target namely staff costs, simply came 'up front' with the public, said this cost has increased and so have your tickets. There is no unversal law that says air fares cannot go up. Look at the railways - fare rises on a regular basis and usually to cover large pay rises for frontline staff viz drivers negotiated by a strong, national union.
