Listen guys you are not going to get any logical or fair solution from anyone in EY....they need to fill seats and they will do whatever they want to fill them.....the people already in the company will get no favours or priority!!...they will opt for the easiest quick fix...just like they always do.

The Seniority system is used only when it suits them, otherwise they wouldnt have this problem.
The Norm in most decent airlines is that pilots get their first command on the smallest aircraft, if EY had some form of standardised policy in place the DEC requirements would be greatly reduced.
Why cant they simply go dow the list of qualified applicants and offer the slots?...only then if they are still open should DEC be considered.
Look at the crap that goes on with the 777 F/Os..its a joke..there is no policy in place for what happens if a pilot turns down a command on another fleet..the policy changes on a daily basis..depending who is in the office!!

It time this airline and the Training dept got their Sh## together, the new airline excuse has expired....
