izzy1, about the reapplying process: If you have attended an Open Day and was not successful, you can only reapply or attend another Open Day after 6 months. If you went through to the final interview and did not make it through, then you can only reapply after 1 year. Emirates are very strict with their rules, even though sometimes they may sent you an email inviting you to an OD but if the time is not up and you reapply, they may not even look at your profile
I know it is strange but they seems to do it all the time, inviting people to attend an OD even though applicants are not yet allow to attend. So it is best to wait for the full course before reapplying
But if you have waited let say about 5 months or close to the full course and they invited you to an assessment day, you should then contact the cabin crew joiner to confirm whether it is okay for you to go. In most cases they would let you
