I have flown the slowest C210 in Oz, ie 150 kts TAS at 75% power (won't mention the call sign) and today I may well have flown the fastest C210 in Oz (IO550 powered). Only did one BIG circuit in it for a test flight - but it was indicating 160 kts at 1000' on 2600/22". Tomorrow I am taking it for a serious running in flight - will be interesting to see just how quick it really is. It certainly takes some slowing down. I thought the V-tail was quick - but this thing is seriously fast!
I will pull the book and post the real figures in here tomorrow night, but as a rough guide I have generally flightplanned as follows:
MTOW - TBA
BEW - TBA
Fuel Capacity - 5+ hrs
Fuel Burn - 60 L/hr
TAS - 160 to 165 kts depending on the age etc of the aeroplane
