Narh, my day so far had been soooo much more enjoyable.
Arrived at an office in Marylebone at 0902.
Requested canteen zone penetration and was granted a lovely latte by a very friendly and helpful canteen controller.
Landed at my desk at 0917.
Stared at my glass cockpit for 3 or so hours, fingers flying over the keyboard controls.
Stayed there until lunchtime, at which I departed enroute for canteen zone again.
Different controller on duty at the canteen zone this time, but was granted a nice sandwich this time.
Said farewell to friendly controller, and landed back at desk around 1317 to the familiar charming sounds of whirring printers, keyboards clicking, and mind numbingly boring conversations. The aroma of toner cartridges and farts hanging in the air as I taxied to desk 4B040, where I unlocked the the glass cockpit and flew my fingers across the controls some more until now.
