I liked how Yates called 'John' the pilot another 'highly trained professional' even though by his own admission 'John' the pilot flew once a month from Biggin (most likely therefore, on a PPL) But yeah he was hamming it all up a bit too much given the situation
I don't even see the need for some 'experts' soundbites, the news presenters were practially answering their own questions anyway. And did anyone see the little girl who said she saw the pax waving at her to get out of the way? To which the the reporter asked her "you mean the pilot from the cockpit?!?" For god's sake BBC, this is a childs imagination, not news!
