Any chance of flying on Dostinex?

Hi all.

I will keep this brief. I am a South African, male, commercial pilot who was diagnosed with a large prolactin producing macro adenoma in Sept 2007. It was quite big, measuring in at about 2,5cm. My prolactin levels were in excess of 44 700 (300 = normal).

Since being diagnosed, I have been on Dostinex. The adenoma has reduced in size to roughly 1,6cm and the prolactin levels have reduced to below 500. My doctor submitted my case to the medical board. They rejected my application due to the fact that I am still on Dostinex. I am physiologically fine except for low hormone levels (TSH, T4 etc).

I would like to enquire whether there is a case somewhere in the world of a pilot being granted a class 1 medical while using Dostinex.

I would greatly appreciate any help.
Thanx guys and girls.
