Well, have told pretty much everyone else
, might as well tell you... Did my first solo the other day...! And what a
rush!
I know you already know what I mean... But Man... Guess in a few more days it'll sink in what I've actually done...
What amazed me the most is how the flight itself was pretty much a non-event... Had been up earlier doing 6 landings and a bunch of holding, orbiting, extended downwinds etc; way too busy in the pattern for a 1st solo... Then half an hour on the ground to have a cup of coffee and relax a bit, waiting for everyone else to leave; and up again for two touch and go's and a full stop, solo. No biggie, but what a rush!
Looking forward to my first solo nav; am really even more excited about that one...
This flying stuff is just way too much
