well as an ex-EK staff... I can say that not-so-good stuff sometimes happen.
Things can go wrong within the HR Department, just imagine how many new staff they are recruiting every month! My advise is to just stay cool and cooperative. Do some follow-ups if you feel things started to get silly and strange. But in any case, this should not be a reason for you to worry because Emirates has a very competent recruitment team. There may be delays and little shortfalls but it's surely gonna be taken care of.
