Choose Stampe ahead of Tiger, because at least with two sets of ailerons instead of the Tiger's one you have some chance of actually turning in the direction you are banking (by no means a foregone conclusion in a Tiger). If money is no object, however, and you want something that you can get more hours in than, say a P-51 or Spit, then a Yak 11 looks pretty fab for around the 100K mark. I watched Mark Jeffries beating the **** out of RFC Bourn in one of these a few months ago. Looks great, sounds great, and is said to have a wondrous power to weight ratio and real WW2 fighter handling characteristics. If you break it, you can get another one, whereas if you break your Spifire, you will blub a lot and all the anoraks (me included) will hate you for writing off one of the wonder machines.
