Well lucky you..man while I'm here with no rights and paid like a european truck driver you get your nice extra allowances and a real 100% salary pension...on my back.
Well if you love flying so much why don't you send a letter to management and tell them you want to fly for free because it is such a passion for you ..right?
And by the way I'd like to be a fly in the cockpit if one day you'll find yourself in some big !!!!...I mean big... you know ... you know the one that from time time happens....I want to see your smiling happy face....with the oxigen mask on it...in that moment.
I dont know why you guys generalise everybody here?! NO, I am not a local, and I dont get any special treatment. If you are so concerned about your profession and your family, why dont you work in your own country? I am really surprised at your condition and can only pray things get better for you. BTW, it is never too late for a career change. Good luck with your life and I hope you get rid of your miseries. By the grace of God, I havent seen any critical situation in cockpit so far, but if I do, I will accept it. There is no better feeling than coming down safe and sound. Risk is a part of life in Aviation and I happily accept it in my profession. I think at your age, you have started thinking more about others in your family and it is possible to cause distress in life. Please calm down and re-think your current situation as a pilot. There are many other professions you can get into (and give way to other aspiring pilots) and be happy in life. Remember .. "never too late"

I hate going off-topic in this thread. Here's my suggestion to SamAustralia:

Why dont you have a look at schools in Archerfield, Brisbane. AAA/RQAC (Royal Queensland Aero Club) is a great school for 0-ATPL ground/flying training. Good luck with your endeavours in Aviation and I honestly hope you join this profession for your passion as you can realise, not everyone's happy here.

Regards
