I found this subject very interesting and decided to have a look into it a bit more and to find out what has really happend.
Now, from what I have found from many people I have talked too is that the owner is a 'fantasist', 'a liar' and 'a cheat'. (Comes from more than one source) If you happen to fly to ANYWHERE in the north of England at any point then just ask anyone at the airfield you land at what Cloud 9 was/ is like!!! You will be surprised at what you hear.
A good friend of mine was based at Sheffield City Airport which sadly is closing soon. He tells me they got a bad reputation at Sandtoft, Gamston and Sheffield City.
I didn't know about Leeds Flying School but it seems to be a shame that this has happend to once a great school.
I thought i'd pass on what info I have to lighten this thread. Let's hope they have gone under to prevent anyone losing money. I did read on another forum that one guy had money in the company ready to do his Commercial Flight training!!!
Are there any students from Cloud 9 still out there??
