OA, agree completely. In these days where it is inevitable that many of us will question the political motive and justification for how we are employed, it is particularly interesting to see a perspective from the 'other side'. Clint Eastwood's twin Iwo Jima movies tried the same thing (not seen, can't comment). It would be a sad world if we were not permitted to admire bravery and skill because of the actions of those that came after and told us how history was to be portrayed.
(Still, it will get my heckles up as the 'Baron sends Biggles spiralling to the ground!)
