Kurt, cabair will arrange for you to sit an assessment day as soon as is convinient for you. I had mine within 3 weeks of applying. Upon successful completion of the assessment day, you will be asked when you would like to start training. Assuming there are places available and you would be ready, I would say it is technically possible to start right away. there are no cool-off periods or limitations.
Classes start every 2 months at the beginning of the month (january, march, may, july... etc)
In january when I had my assessment there were still places available on the march class but due to personal circumstances I chose July... wish I had chosen May now, i cant wait
