Checking the airport cargo website and thy say the airport can handle 6 b747 cargo aircraft together,Is this the only airport in the uk other than LHR that as this?, the airports of MAN,STN,LGW have not got this ability,
MAN certainly has with about a dozen 747 capable remote stands. Some of these - 5 or 6 - are equipped with tie down points to stabilise the aircraft during loading/unloading if a tail stabiliser is not used. I think they all have hydrant fuel and fixed ground power too and with several handling agents available, handling is not an issue. Certainly quite common to see 3-4 747F being handled at MAN at once.
