East West Airlines history information required

Dear Chaps,

On request of a friend, he would like to ask where would be the best place to gather historical information in relation to East West Airlines? He is interested in the post war years when they flew Ansons, Hudsons and the DC3. He has the book East West Eagles by Archie Smith(?), Stewart Wilson's Airliners in Australian Service book and searches on the internet.

He would like to get in contact with someone who knows more about the company back then. Is there a historical unit in the New England/ Tamworth area he could ask? (Internet searches do not inform). Especially in relation to the Anson on display at Tamworth aerodrome (is it still there?).
He also found out that the Temora Avaiation Musuem's Hudson was the Flagship of the EW fleet after the war. He has contacted them with no luck either as to the history of that machine.
He has also checked this site http://www.adastra.adastron.com/ where most EW post war machines ended up.
Any responses here would be appreicated. Friend apparently wants to write a book like EW Eagles but with more photography.

Thanks in advance everyone.

Cheers
CRN.
