Hi all, I'm a bit confused and am looking for some help.....
I completed 20hrs towards my PPL last July (flying scholarship), and have not had any (official) lessons since, just flown with friends and had some air experience flying.
My question is this: Do I have to complete all of (ie up to and including final skills test) or only parts of the PPL sylabus within a year? I have heard many conflicting answers to this question and am in need of a concrete answer as time is (possibly) running out!

I have looked into going back to the airport where I did my F/Schol for a couple of weeks and completing the remainder of my PPL, but I am a bit short on funds at the mo. I am desperately keen to hang on to the 20hrs I have had already as I can't afford to lose them, but am concerned that my time is running out!
I have also passed 3 of the written exams (human perf., air law, and technical exam) do these 'expire' too or not?
Thanks for your help, much appreciated!
LFG
