If the people you refer to as "drifting pieces of dead wood" are able to avoid the same vetting procedure that initials go through, it is because they have a record of their employment within the QF group.
Now if they are so bad, but have no blemishes on their record, that is unfortunate.
The reality is that the current recruitment is massive, and in theory their BPR's with Jetstar should be a much better indicator than any group session, and will certainly save the recruitment team a great deal of work.
