I am also against MPL training with pax. It is obviously cutting the margin of safety.
I remember the first hours of developing instrument scan on NDB approaches in actual IFR, partial panel, timed st. rate turnes, compas turnes, unusual attitudes, spin recovery training, aerobatic training, multi IFR training, ME and instrument instuctor training, student sign-offs, P141 chief pilot responsibilities, ATP training, single pilot P135 flights, FAA to JAA conversion training, etc. My point is, 737 sim training does not gives these pilots enough experience to act as a PILOT should.
WE NOW HAVE AIRLINERS FLYING WITH ONE PILOT AND ONE FLIGHT ENGINER(with limited knowledge).
When I travel, I want two PILOTS!
