For the architecturally inclined Shoreham is a typical 1930's terminal building (built 1934 -Grade II Listed), very much of its time. Worth a wander around and do inspect the gents loos on the first floor -Art Deco and palatial -a real throne room!!. .. .Shoreham is apparently the oldest licenced airfiled in the country, dating back to 1910, on land owned by the Miles family.. .. .Beagle Pup and Basset were built here.. .. .HQ of PFA today.. .. .There, lesson over.. .. .Has this lightened the thread up??. .. .DOC
