Shoreham, well, I'm not a resident there but from the times I've flown into there, its VERY BUSY! The ground rises to the north & I remember ending up very high over the threshold of runway 21(?) because I stayed too high on base leg. . .. .However, I did enjoy loitering with the reggie-spotters before pushing my way through them, going through the gate labelled 'aircrew only' and strolling across the grass to my aircraft. A moment of oneupmanship.. .. .Its a scenic airfield, try and go round the front of the terminal building to admire the Art-deco architecture.
