The pilot concerned is, as previously stated, a well known and highly professional individual. He is also a good friend of many other pilots. Thank God he has survived such a catastrophic event. I'm sure his knowledge and experiance, as well as his aviator attitude stood him well. The AAIU, will I'm sure, do their usual 'good job' and we'll all be much the wiser upon receipt of their investigations. Wishing the pilot and his family all the best. Well done
