We are undergoing a significant operational remake to position our operational service delivery to ensure we can meet the challenges of unprecedented growth, changing industry dynamics, and demand to further improve safety and efficiency.
Does anyone in AsA actually believe this rubbish anymore? Changes (remakes) have been going on continuously for at least a decade and a half and have been advertised both internally and externally as such. Senior management must know that no one else takes the words (or associated actions) seriously, but in the almost complete vacuum of business management goals and leadership skills, they keep rehashing their little catch phrases because there is nothing else that can put a positive spin on utter confusion, uninspiring leadership and tail chasing. These little touchy, feely meetings are a waste of time. The same action items are raised each time and then duly ignored by, or not related to the people who can make the requisite changes. I don't know why anyone would even take the time away from their resumes and applications to attend.

One of these days, there will be rewards for good leadership and innovation, real information sharing, meaningful acceptance of new ideas and less anal attention on cost reduction in AsA, but it certainly won't be in the next few years.
