You give my mama too much credit. She just knew the Aus property market inside out and the relationship prices had to interest rates. She wasn’t and still probably isn’t that savvy with the relationship between exchange rates/interest rates and would look at me funny (
) if I asked her the relationship between pegged exchange rate economies with externally driven interest rates, i.e. like HK.
