Well done Anne.
But oldest woman to get a pilot's licence? I don't think so. Lettice Curtis got her PPL(H) when she was in her 70s. Now I know she was a former ATA pilot and had been flying f/w aircraft for ever, but still, a PPL(H) is a new type of machine and a new licence.
So I think this is the press coming up with something interesting and thinking it won't be challenged.
