We pilots are our own biggest enemy. Time and time again we send signals to airline management that we are willing to do just about anything, and accept just about anything, as long as we get to fly an airplane.
If it isnīt buying type ratings to get ahead in line (something the airlines used to provide) its paying for training (something airlines also used to provide), some idiots supposedly even accepts to pay for their own uniforms and ID cards..... Lately we have accepted to fly with pilots over 60, and the latest B.S. is that we are about to accept to fly with fast track pilots.....anything just to fly airplanes huh.
Lets hope they donīt run into a situation where experience would come in handy for the next ten years.
