I was unable to attend the rally, unfortunately; I have many friends flying at BA and I feel deeply for them. What grates me the most about all of this is: we, the cockpit crews of the world's airlines, are generally stable, fairly pro-company sorts of chaps and chapesses...you've got to really, really be d*cking-up the human resources and leadership qualities parts of management to get so many loyal employees so firmly offside. You also have to have the hide of an elephant to continue with such arrogance as displayed by Mr. Walsh. He now knows his career and reputation are fimly on the line - he's painted himself into a corner more completely than anyone else in recent memory (and not without several months' due warning, I might add), and now has to fight like a cornered cat to save himself.
A more reckless piece of provocative management I cannot remember...and now he places the High Court Judges in the hot seat...I bet they love him...
